The school was founded in the year 1973 with a holistic mission of providing education to girls children. The School Managing Committee took an important decision to affiliate the School with CBSE. It was perhaps the turning point of the school and the school took a giant leap towards the path of glory and success. Afterward the school has gained the status of a Public school and became popular in the locality. The demand for admission in the School was increased so much that the school was forced to accommodate the students in two shifts. It is said that God helps those who helps themselves. When the School was facing the acute problem of shortage of infrastructure the help of Sri Praveen Bhai Patel came as a blessing from heaven. He generously donated the adjacent land for the construction of new school building. All the noble hands joined together to erect a magnificent School building. The plan for the school building was provided by Sri Naveen Pansari. But it is needless to mention that the real architecture of the school building was the generous Board of Trustees and Managing Committee of the School. The Board of Trustees consists of 10 members of the community. They are Sri Mangilal Agrawal as founder of the School, Sri Satyapal Mittal, Sri Ramlal Agrawal, Sri Bharatlal Dubey, Sri Keshab Kumar Dalmia, Sri Mangal Chand Agrawal ,Sri Jaydayal Agrawal, Sri Pravas Chandra Agrawal, Sri Bhanu Prakash Agrawal and Sri Gopal Das Rawal. The School Managing Committee consists of President Sri Pravas Kumar Agrawal, Vice President Smt Charusila Pani, Secretary Sri Mangturam Agrawal, Joint Secretary Smt. Sushila Farmania, Treasurer Sri Jaydayal Agrawal, Member Sri Mangilala Agrawal, Sri Bharat Lal Dubey, Sri Benu Prakash Agrawal, Sri Naveen Kumar Pansari, Sri Parag Agrawal and many others who work ceaselessly for the welfare of the institution. Marwari Yuva Munch, Marwari Mahila Samiti, Central Bank of India, Rotary club of Sambalpur, State Bank of India are committed to the School and rendering assistance from time to time. We have also received financial assistance for the construction of the School building. We owe our gratitude to the philanthropic persons as well as institutions who donated generously for the construction of this magnificent temple of education. A galaxy of well qualified and trained teachers are ever committed for the excellent academic achievements of the school. Keeping in view of the pandemic situation our school teachers are actively engaged in creating resources of learning through You tube and other electronic media to cater the need of the hour.
Besides teaching the teachers do philanthropic works like blood donation, helping to orphanage and charity form time to time. It is worth mentioning that the teachers of the School are awarded by the Central Education Minister Smrit Irani.
At present the school is having a magnificent infrastructure to cater the need of modern education. The New School building consists of well equipped spacious class rooms, computer laboratories, Science laboratories, library, conference room, Common room for teachers and many more. The Kindergarten section of the School are also equipped with many teaching aids to impart education in a play-way method. To promote competitions among the School children the School is divided into four Houses. These houses are Vasistha, Viswamitra, Valmiki and Vedvyas. All the School co-curricular activities are performed by all these Houses on Rotation basis. This year the winner of Annual Athletic Meet is the Valmiki House. In order to create awareness regarding the political scenario of the country the School conduct elections to nominate Head Girls, Head boy and other office bearers among the School children who take the lead role in various co-curricular programmes of the School. The Students of the School are securing gold and silver medal in Kangfu every year. This year Piyus Kumar Yadav and Binita Kalo claim to be the Head boys and head girl respectively of the School. The School has Girls N.C.C wings since long. On Republic Day and on Independence Day the N.C.C Cadets participate in the District parade and claim prizes to enhance the glory of the School. The School has also Interact Club, a branch of Rotary Club for young stars. The School ECo Club is ever committed to create awareness for the promotion of better environment for the society to breath. The School has got prestigious Pakruti Mitra Award from the Government as an acknowledgement. The School students participate in various Community programmes from time to time. The Students have cleaned the dirty pond of Thalvatta para under Swach Bharat Aviyan and set an example among the people of the locality. The school also participates in the Procession of Veer Surendra Sai and Subash Chandra Bose Jayanty every year and claim prizes. The School is also organising various, seminars, workshops, symposiums and other utility programmes from time to time. The School is also a member of Western Odisha Sahodaya School Complex having an association of 26 leading Public Schools of Western Odisha.
The school has achieved academic excellence since its affiliation with CBSE. Every year the students of the school achieve 10 CGPS in the Class-X Board examination. Last year out of 100 students have appeared class-X Board examination in which Ayush Dixit, Krishna Agrawal, Priya Ratan Bansol have achieved 10 CGPA. The school has achieved 100% pass rate with 70% in First Class and the rest in Second Class.
It is a matter of pride that the School is going to start Senior Secondary Wings for Girls students only from this session.

We are doing all we can to ensure that when students eventually leave School they will be self sufficient, polite and humble citizen of the society. Many of our Ex-students have occupied dignified position in the Society. It is worth mentioning the name of Akash Tiwari and Swadhin Agrawal who have successfully accomplished the prestigious NISER course. Our students are happy here. They have a huge number of opportunities in sports and creative pursuit. In our opinion Education is not merely acquirement of facts but also of values which helps us improve different aspect of mankind. Education ensures that we leave the world a far better place than we found it. The objective of our School is to equip the students with 21 century skills and aptitude to face the challenges of life in a balanced and harmonious way. In this pursuit of excellence I appreciate our parents fraternity for supporting the School in every aspect. I also appreciate the visionary work of the Board of Trustees, Managing committee and Parents Teacher Association. I also praise the relentless efforts of our teachers for giving their best in bringing out the best in every child. But I would advise the students to be always modest, humbled and disciplined while being ready to expand the horizons of their knowledge by dreaming big and working hard. Our School adheres strictly any instruction issued by the Government and district administration. The school conduct various important competitive examinations because of the infrastructure available in the School. The school is also allocating 25% of its seats to SC, ST and backward section society as per the instruction of The Collector.
Last but not the least day by day the school is heading towards a better tomorrow.
