Known to his players as Coach Kussler or simply Coach Kuss, he brings a wealth of experience and passion to our boys basketball program. A former Division II athlete at Chaminade University, Coach Kussler was a two-time All-Conference selection and even earned a spot at the Los Angeles Lakers' G-League tryout in 2008.
Off the court, Coach Kussler is a proud husband to his beautiful wife, Victoria, and a devoted father to their three children: Ryan, Owen, and Charlotte. If you see him on May 27, be sure to wish him a Happy Birthday!
When asked what advice he wishes he had received as a high school player, Coach Kussler shares this powerful message:
"Play every game like it's your last!"

Coach Tom Kyncy brings passion, motivation, and compassion to our boys basketball program. The youngest of six, with three sisters and two brothers, Coach Tom has grown up understanding the value of family, teamwork, and support. His love for the game drives him to share his knowledge and help young athletes not only improve their skills, but also grow into strong young men.
Off the court, Coach Tom enjoys life with his two pugs and carries a hardworking spirit into everything he does. If you see him on February 26, be sure to wish him a Happy Birthday!

With a passion for helping athletes make the most of their high school years, Coach O understands the value of both the lessons learned on the court and the memories made along the way.

When asked what advice he would share with high school athletes, Coach O reminds them:
"Enjoy every moment of being a kid. Also enjoy getting to play meaningful basketball because for most of you high school will be the last time you get to do that."

Coach Davis brings energy, dedication, and a deep love for the game to our boys basketball program. Born on March 3, Coach Davis grew up around the sport with his own mom currently serving as the Bella Vista Girls Varsity Basketball Coach. This lead to a lifelong passion for basketball that has shaped Coach Davis both as a player and as a coach. Through the game, he’s honed essential life skills including leadership, effort, camaraderie, resiliency, and trust.
When asked what advice he would share with today’s high school athletes, Coach Davis offers these inspiring words:
"Do what you love and you will enjoy what you do."

Coach Joseph or Coach Joe, brings seven years of coaching experience and a steady commitment to the game of basketball. This season marks his third year as a high school JV assistant coach, where he continues to share his knowledge, energy, and passion with our program.
Born on March 5, Coach Joseph is the proud oldest sibling to two amazing sisters and the grateful son of incredible parents.
When asked what advice he would share with young athletes, Coach Joseph offers this uplifting message:
"Enjoy every day and always give your best! You never know what the future will hold!"

His players call him Coach Greg, Coach G, Coach Bartlett, or Coach GB. With over 30 years of experience as a player and coach, Coach Greg brings a deep love for the game and a commitment to helping athletes grow both on and off the court.
Coach Greg comes from a big family. Born on September 25, he’s the second youngest of six boys, which helped shape his competitive edge and team first mindset.
When asked what advice he wishes he had as a high school athlete, Coach Greg shared this powerful insight:
"Doing hard things is a prerequisite to success. Challenges are the byproduct of progress. Discipline coupled with hard work will produce results. Do not dwell on a single result. Moreover, focus on the diligent effort required to produce results. The path to progress is difficult. However, everything you want in life is on the other side of hard."

Coach Patrick brings over four decades of basketball experience to the program, and he’s still playing the game he loves (even if, as he jokes, “it hurts more than it used to”). His lifelong dedication to basketball includes four years competing in the U.S. Army and two seasons at the NCAA level, giving him a depth of experience and perspective that he now shares with his players.
Family means everything to Coach Patrick. He is a proud father of four children, three of whom graduated from Bella Vista. This makes his connection to the school community especially meaningful.
When asked what advice he’d give to today’s athletes, Coach Patrick shared an inspiring message about growth and purpose:
“Dreams are big, but life can be bigger. Do everything to make your life bigger than you ever thought imaginable, and take every shot at happiness.”
