Goals & Objectives

We focus on skills necessary for future academic success and social-emotional development. Our objectives include: communicating directly with peers, expressing appropriate emotions, building positive relationships, fostering cognitive skills, fine/gross motor development, and building each child's self-confidence through independence. 

At Busy Bees, we believe students learn through play. We provide a balanced curriculum that will nurture each child.

🐝Social-emotional development -

Self Awareness: Children learn to identify and express emotions, understand and express their feelings, and develop a sense of self. 

Social skills: Interacting with peers, building friendships, and navigating social situations. 

Independence: Gaining confidence in self-help skills like dressing and putting on shoes, cleaning up, and taking care of their own backpacks/lunch boxes/jackets.

🐝Cognitive development:

Curiosity: Students are encouraged to be curious, ask questions, and explore their new environment.

Problem Solving: Students are asked to try and solve simple problems and make connections.

Creativity and Imagination: We always offer opportunities for students to be creative through play, arts and crafts, and other daily activities. 

🐝Classroom Management -

Students will be asked to follow basic directions, participate in group activities (like circle time and show & tell), and develop appropriate self-managing behaviors in a classroom setting.

Our goal is to foster our Busy Bees' love for learning and positive attitudes towards school.
