I have been working in the same industry for 27 years and have changed only 3 companies in my careers. However, when I look at the younger lot, I realise that they have become quite impatient and quit at the drop of a hat. Thus, employers need to pull up their socks and make adjustments to retain their employees who are planning to quit. They need to look at the issues which make them quit, such as no appreciation, low remuneration, pressure and stress, no growth prospects, etc. Business owners need to work on creating a positive work place that helps the workers grow.
