This Privacy Policy applies to the Business Contacts mobile application (hereby referred to as "the App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

1. Information Collection and Use

The App is designed to function entirely offline. All data you enter into the App, including but not limited to contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, custom categories, and notes, is stored locally on your device's internal storage using an encrypted local Room Database.

We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any of your personal data or contact information with external servers, databases, or third parties.

2. Device Permissions

To support enhanced contact management features, the App requests optional device permissions under the Import/Export panel. These permissions are only accessed at your explicit action:

• READ_CONTACTS Permission: Allows you to import contacts from your device's native address book into the App so you do not have to enter them manually.

• WRITE_CONTACTS Permission: Allows you to export and sync contacts created in this App directly into your device's native address book.

Data Security Note: This information is processed strictly on-device. No internet or network permissions are declared in the App, meaning it is technically impossible for the App to transmit your contact details to external servers or any third-party services. Your contacts remain 100% private and securely stored locally.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained locally on your device as long as the App is installed. You can delete all your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual contacts from within the App.

• Clearing the App's data or cache via your device's system settings.

• Uninstalling the App.

Uninstalling the App will completely remove all associated data, as we do not hold any backups on external servers.

4. Updates to this Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. Since the App is fully offline, we cannot notify you via push notification or email, but you may consult the repository where the app is hosted for updates.
