Bushyhead Farm Festival Rules
No Firearms, No exceptions.
No dogs! Special exceptions made for Service dogs, that are kept on leash and do not bark!
No fires, except in pre-established fire pits.
No generator use, except in the RV Generator camping area.
No amplified music, radios, speakers, etc... Playing instruments is cool.
Do not cross over, under or pass through any fences. Please respect our neighbors private property.
This is a Family friendly event. Please conduct yourself in a manner repectful of others.
DO NOT SPEED THROUGH THE TOWN OF KANSAS, OK!!! Our road is 25mph and Police will be out!
FAQ
Will food be available? Yes, there will be food vendors. Otherwise be prepared to supply your own food and drinks.
Is there drinking water on site? No, please bring your own water and beverages.
Can I bring an RV or camper trailer? Yes, with an RV pass, there are no electric or water hook-ups, and if you plan to use a generator you must park in RV area.
What time is music over? Main stage music stops around 12:00am every night.
Can I bring my instrument and play around the fire? Yes, please do!
When can we arrive? You may arrive anytime after 10am 10-17-2024. Gates close after 10pm. Friday and Saturday Gate entry will be open at 10am. Early arrival tickets will be available for arriving Wednesday 10-16-2024, early entry will open at noon.
Can I park next to my camp? The area closest to the stage, is tent camping only. You will require unloading your gear and parking at the barn. All other camping, you may park at your campsite. Unless you need to leave and return, then you will need to park in a parking area by the gate. Redbud area is no vehicles, tent only.
Can I reserve a campsite? No, all campsites are first come first claim.
Can I have a fire at my campsite? No, there are four existing large firepits designed to be enjoyed by big groups. Each firepit will be stocked with wood, and kept burning all weekend. They may be used for cooking.
Are there hiking trails? Yes, on our property there are about a mile of trails looping around. And, across the road, are over 25 miles of trails on 20,000 acres of Cherokee Nation land, that is open to the public.
Will there be swimming? There is no swimming on site. However, there are swimming areas within a short drive.
Are there stores in town? Yes, but very limited grocery supplies. 1 small liquor store, 1 dispensary, 2 gas stations, and a Dollar General Store, with 2 cafe's. Best to come fully prepared, as the choices are limited in Kansas, OK.
Are there bathrooms? There will be porta-potties in the campgrounds, and in the festival stage area. No showers. There will be handwashing/sanitizing stations near the food vendor area.
What's the closest airport? NWA is about a 40 minute drive, and TUL is about 1 hour drive.
What are the driving directions?
From Tulsa: Head east on HWY 412, merge onto Cherokee Turnpike East, exit HWY 10 Kansas, OK, south (right) on HWY 10 for 1 mile, turn west (right) onto Tulsa Ave (Scenic HWY 412) go 1 mile, turn North (right) onto Cherokee St (Dry Creek Road) travel 4.3 miles destination is on the left side.
From Arkansas: Follow 412 west into Oklahoma, stay on scenic 412, after crossing HWY 10/59 in Kansas, OK, go 1 mile, turn North (right) onto Cherokee St (Dry Creek Road) travel 4.3 miles destination is on the left side.
From Texas: Follow 75/69, stay on HWY 69, exit onto HWY 412 East, merge onto Cherokee Turnpike East, exit HWY 10 Kansas, OK, south (right) on HWY 10 for 1 mile, turn west (right) onto Tulsa Ave (Scenic HWY 412) go 1 mile, turn North (right) onto Cherokee St (Dry Creek Road) travel 4.3 miles destination is on the left side.
