Pilgrimage

The Pilgrimage is an annual bushwalking and social event attracting members of affiliated clubs from throughout the south-east corner of the state and sometimes further afield. 

BWQ Pilgrimage 2026

Date:     7-9 August 2026

Venue:   Binna Burra

Bushwalking Queensland is organising a mini-Pilgrimage to be held at Binna Burra.

• A no-frills walking weekend at Binna Burra, Lamington National Park

• Graded track walks by club leaders

• Stay for the weekend or just for the day

• Socialise around the fire pit at the Groom’s Cottage Bushwalkers Bar

• No bush dance and no Pilgrimage fee

• Arrange your own accommodation via Binna Burra

Members of BWQ affiliated clubs are invited to register their attendance, this will assist in formulating a walks program. It is intended to run walks or other associated activities on each of the 3 days.

• Please complete the registration whether you are coming for the weekend or just a day

• If undecided, just leave the Days question blank

• Phone numbers are optional

• Couples may register on the same form
