I am an entomologist and agroecologist with a fascination for insect behavior and an interest in biodiversity conservation. My research interests have always run parallel to my passion in arts - particularly watercolor painting and drawing.
These two worlds first meaningfully converged during my initial trip to Benin, where I was working on a project exploring the use of insects as food and medicine. While there, I encountered an inspiring exhibition at the Foundation Zinsou in Cotonou, centered on the novel My Life in the Bush of Ghosts. That experience sparked a new creative project.
