In August 2023, I received my Ph.D. in Operations Research from the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I received my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University in 2016 and 2018.
My interests lie in the applications of operation research techniques to problems spanning digital twins, supply chain and logistics, network design, scheduling, disaster management, and decision-making in healthcare. My recent research has focused on Cardiac Intensive Care Unit acuity predictions; infectious disease modeling and evaluating the impact of interventions; disaster preparedness and response; and post-disaster debris management.
