BusBee Support

BusBee is a live bus-tracking app for colleges. This page covers how to get

started, common problems, and how to reach us.

Section 2 — contact (put this near the top; Apple's reviewer looks for it)

  Section 3 — getting started

  Getting started

BusBee has three kinds of accounts: Administrator, Driver, and Student.

Open the app, tap your role, enter your mobile number, and enter the

  one-time code to sign in.

  Students and drivers

You do not create your own account. Your college administrator adds you to

BusBee using your mobile number. Once you have been added, open the app,

pick "Student" or "Driver", and sign in with that same number. If the app

says your number is not recognised, ask your college administrator to check

the number they registered for you.

  Administrators

Tap "Register" on the sign-in screen to create an administrator account.

Your account is then reviewed and approved before you can use it — the app

shows a "Your account is being verified" screen with your admin ID until

that is done. Tap "Check now" to refresh the status.

Section 4 — using the app

  Using BusBee

  Students and passengers

  - See your assigned bus live on the map while it is on its route

  - Look up any bus by number and follow it, not just your own

  - View your route, your stop, and the stops before it

  - Find buses running near you

  - If your stop is suspended for the day, the app shows you the nearest

    active stop instead

  Drivers

  - Start a trip when you begin your route and end it when you finish

  - Your assigned bus, route, and stops appear in order

  - Your location is shared only while a trip is active

  Administrators

  - A single live map of every bus in your fleet

  - Build routes stop by stop, reorder stops, and set pickup windows

  - Add and manage buses, drivers, and students

  - Assign students and drivers to buses; seat capacity is enforced so a bus

    cannot be over-assigned

  - Each bus is assigned exactly one active driver

  Section 5 — location

  Location and permissions

BusBee asks for location access while you are using the app.

Drivers share their location during an active trip so passengers can see

where the bus is. Passenger location is used to show buses running near you

and your position relative to the route. BusBee does not track your

location when the app is closed.

You can change this at any time in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security >

Location Services > BusBee. If you are a driver and you turn location off,

passengers will not be able to see your bus.

  Section 6 — troubleshooting

  Troubleshooting

I did not get my one-time code

Check that you entered the same mobile number your college registered for

you. Wait a few moments and request the code again. If it still does not

arrive, email twostackd@gmail.com with your name, your college, and the

number you are trying to use.

  My number is not recognised

Students and drivers must be added by their college administrator before

they can sign in. Contact your administrator and confirm the number on

  file.

My bus is not showing on the map

The bus only appears while the driver has an active trip running. If the

trip has not started yet, or the driver's phone has no signal or has

location turned off, the bus will not appear. Contact your college

  transport office if this continues.

The bus location looks out of date

Positions update roughly every 5 seconds while a bus is moving. A weak

mobile signal on the driver's phone can delay updates.

My stop is missing or was skipped

Your administrator can suspend a stop for the day. When that happens the

app points you to the nearest active stop. If a stop is wrong, contact your

  college transport office.

  The app will not load

Check your internet connection, then close and reopen the app. If the

problem continues, email us with your device model and iOS version.

Section 7 — account deletion (Apple requires this)

  Deleting your account

To delete your BusBee account and the data associated with it, email

twostackd@gmail.com from the number or address on your account, or call

+91 93605 55572. Include your name, your role, and your college.

We will confirm and delete your account within 7 days. Deleting your

account removes your profile, your bus assignment, and your stored

  location history.

  Section 8 — footer

BusBee requires an account provided by your college. If your college is not

on BusBee yet, contact us at twostackd@gmail.com.
