Booster Club -Volunteering and Fundraising

Booster fundraisers is vitally important to maintain a high caliber program that is able to cover expenses such as uniforms/team apparel, assistant coaching fees, team activities, and more. Fundraising information will be handed out Season Player/Parent Kickoff Meeting.

If your child will be participating in high school soccer, your participation is required. There will be multiple opportunities to volunteer however the most important is at HOME GAMES in the concession stand.

This year are fundraisers are Booster Dues Donations, Cub Foods bagging and the Concession stand during home games (other possible fundraisers TBD). We are always open to suggestions if you know of any high-impact fundraising opportunities or if you can assist in reaching out to local businesses please let us know.

2025-26 Booster Dues Suggested Donations:

Varsity Team Players: $50 - includes t-shirt

*Note from the athletics department: All athletics and many activities have fees associated with them. However, if any family needs financial assistance to reduce participation fees, please contact Jeanine Riggs (jriggs@isd191.org), Administrative Assistant for Athletics/Activities. No student will ever be denied participation in athletics or activities due to financial hardship.

Volunteering

The basketball program relies heavily on parent volunteers to organize and assist in supporting the teams. Everyone is a booster parent!

2025-26 Opportunities

Below is a list of activities managed by BHS Girls basketball boosters. Family members are asked to sign up for a minimum of two to three areas to ensure everyone has a fun and memorable season.

Fundraising

Seeking people to take the lead on organizing the activities associated with our fundraisers.

Cub Foods: Schedule 1 day during the season for the teams to bag groceries.
Set up a table for donations (posters, tip jar, etc.).

Teacher/Staff Appreciation

Coordinate recognition of varsity players' teacher/staff honorees.
Responsibilities include: TDB

Senior Recognition Night

Coordinate pre-game senior recognition event. Responsibilities include:

Invitation to seniors from all teams and their parents.
Compile profiles to be read as seniors are announced.
Arrange for photographer to take pictures.

End of Season Banquet 3-4 Volunteers

Determine date, time, menu and facility.
This small group of volunteers can assign tasks to handle invitations, decorations, senior gifts, event program, video, and cake/dessert.
Expenses are reimbursed.

Photographers

The pictures from games are used to create the video shown at the end-of-season banquet.

One parent volunteer from each team is needed to take pictures and ensure there are photos of every player.

End of Season Banquet Videographer

Work with team photographers to select and create a video highlighting all teams.

Concession Stand Sign Up
