Burlingame Adult Day Health Care first opened its doors in 2023 to provide the highest quality of care for older adults in the Bay Area. At Burlingame ADHC, we strive to provide the best ADHC/CBAS services for the community, empowering older adults to continue to thrive and live their best lives with the support of our program and team members.

Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) is a licensed community-based day care program providing health, therapeutic, social and recreational services to older persons and adults with chronic medical, cognitive, or mental health conditions and/or disabilities that are at risk of needing institutional care.

A coordinated team of licensed professionals, including nurses, social workers, and physical, speech, and occupational therapists, focus on medical, preventive, and social care to improve health outcomes for high-cost / high-risk patients. Also provided are activities, personal care, hot meals, nutritional counseling, and transportation to and from the center.

Community Based Adult Services (CBAS) is the Medi-Cal program through which Medi-Cal beneficiaries receive ADHC services. Medi-Cal beneficiaries must CBAS eligibility requirements and are usually enrolled in Medi-Cal managed care plan.
