Welcome to Burleson County 4-H! 4-H is a youth development program that offers 3rd through 12th grade youth, ages 8 to 18, a wide variety of opportunities in various project areas. 4-H offers members hands-on experiences in leadership, community service, career discovery, building connections, and developing life-long skills.
Participants can engage in various projects, including livestock showing, public speaking, STEM, shooting sports, food & nutrition, and more! The program is supported by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and relies heavily on volunteers, including adult mentors who guide and support the youth in their endeavors.
Through competitions, camps, and community service projects, Texas 4-H members can gain valuable experiences that prepare them for future careers and active citizenship. The program also emphasizes the importance of giving back to the community, with many 4-H members involved in local service initiatives.
