Thursday, March 14 - Join us for our first planning meeting for Teacher Appreciation Week. You can join us in the morning at Burch (7:30 a.m.) or in the evening by phone (8:00 p.m.) by emailing or texting PTOINFO to email@example.com, 470-242-1373. Help PTO show teachers and others in the school, how much we appreciate all that they do, all year long.
Thursday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m. - Technology Safety Parent Workshop and PTO General Meeting
This year the school is asking families to volunteer a minimum of 2 hours . The next big item to plan for is Teacher Appreciation Week in May. The school also needs volunteers for STEAM sessions on Wednesdays. Check with the front office for details.
Looking for something more long term?
If you are interested in joining the PTO Board or a committee, come and find out more at the March 21 meeting, or send an email now with any questions. Let us know your talents and passions so we can help you find a rewarding way to contribute. The sooner we can get families involved, the sooner we can plan, the greater 2019-2020 will be for our Burch Family!
When it comes to supporting a school like Burch, every contribution matters. Take a look at the ways you might contribute to the PTO's efforts to enrich the experiences of our school, teachers, students, and community. We sincerely appreciate your gifts and would like to say thank you to each family that contributes. Check out our new contribution levels. No more worrying about contributing equal amounts for each of your family's Burch Bears, simply send in the form and payment with the oldest child, or contribute through the Burch Shop!
Remember, the PTO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Donors may deduct contributions to the PTO in accordance with the Internal Revenue Code.
PTO Board Members
The PTO Board members generally meet on the first Thursday of the month. The next Board meeting is scheduled for after Spring Break, Thursday, April 11 at 7:30 a.m. Due to the size of the conference room and the packed-agenda, we ask that you notify a PTO Board member if you plan to attend so we can make arrangements in advance. Minutes will be made available online, or you can request a copy from the office.
If there is something you need assistance with in the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out to us or one of the other Burch Family members that you will often see volunteering. The PTO Board members also are available to answer questions you might have regarding the programs and other efforts we sponsor financially and/or through volunteers.
