Is the is 501(c)3?

No. Neither Ashley nor Jackie take any form of payment (outside of the occasional cookies we receive in thanks) and we don't generally handle any kind of cash. Because we are basically just a gift escrow house - applying for charitable status did not make sense, especially now that most people don't itemize their deductions.  

Why must the gift be unwrapped?

There are two reasons for this: 

1. We want to make sure the gift is appropriate.

2. We try to equalize gifts within families, so we need to know what's going to who so we know where to supplement  

Can I help wrap?

While we absolutely appreciate the desire to help, in order to make sure everything remains completely anonymous, Ashley and Jackie are the only people who wrap and sort the gifts.

Can I donate money?

We do not take any monetary donations unless it's for a specific reason (ex., please buy #3 a basketball). However, we do try to provide each family with a $10-$20 gift card to Ralphs or Target - so if you would like to donate one of those gift cards we will accept those.
