Buoy ("the App") is designed with privacy as a core principle. The App operates locally on your device and does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external servers.

Data Collection and Usage

Buoy does not collect, track, or share any personally identifiable information. Any custom breathing patterns or settings you create are stored exclusively on your device's local storage.

Data Sharing

Buoy does not share your data with third parties. If you choose to share a breathing pattern using the system share menu, the App only exports the specific pattern data you selected via your chosen Android sharing app.

Data Retention Policy

Buoy does not retain or store any user data on external servers or cloud services. All app data (such as custom breathing patterns and preferences) is stored locally on your device and is retained only for as long as the App remains installed on your device.

Data Deletion Process

Because all data is stored locally on your device and not on remote servers, you have full control over your data deletion at all times:

• In-App Deletion: You can delete individual breathing patterns directly within the App.

• Clear App Data: You can delete all locally stored data at any time through your Android system settings (Settings > Apps > Buoy > Storage & cache > Clear storage).

• Uninstall: Uninstalling Buoy from your device will automatically and permanently delete all app data stored on your device.

Since no data is transmitted to or stored on external servers, there is no remote database to request deletion from.
