Bothell UMC Youth Ministries Wonderful Wednesdays Summer 2017
Dear Youth and Parent/Guardians,
I am looking forward to a fun and exciting summer with lots of fun activities and opportunities to connect with God and with one another!
Our Wonderful Wednesdays programming begins this Wednesday, July 12. Please find below the calendar of future meetings, times and descriptions of events. We will need parent/guardian support for many of these events, including drivers for some of the activities that take place away from the church.
please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I am very excited for this summer and for the ways God will encounter each of us in new ways!

Meet at church for fellowship, fun and conversation!
Wednesday, July 19, 4:00-8:00 PM, SAgE Sammamish Valley Student Farm
Meet at the church at 3:30 PM to carpool to this local organic farm where we will volunteer our time and learn about how they practice and teach sustainable agriculture.
Parents/Guardians: there is no cost for this outing, but we do need drivers. If you can drive, sign up here.
Wednesday, July 26 -- NO GATHERING (Mission Trip)
Wednesday, August 2, 6:00-8:00 PM, Meet at St. Edwards Park
Join us for fellowship and hiking! We are meeting at St. Edwards Park. Find Directions Here.
Parents/Guardians: there is no cost for this outing, but the daily parking fee is $10 unless you have a Washington Parks Discover Pass (Discover Passes can be purchased onsite).
TUESDAY, August 8, 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Maltby Food Bank
For this Tuesday outing, we will meet at the church at 10:00 AM and travel to the Maltby Food Bank location to volunteer our time and learn about the important work of this organization.
Parents/Guardians: There is a cost for this outing -- we will have lunch on the way back, so we recommend that youth bring $10. Also, we do need drivers. If you can drive, sign up here.
Wednesday, August 16, 6:30-11:00 PM, Everett Aquasox Game
What's a summer without going to the ballpark? We'll meet at Everett Memorial Stadium for the game, which starts at 7:05 PM. Find Directions Here.
Parents/Guardians: There is a cost for this outing -- general admission tickets are $9, plus whatever your youth may want to have on hand for snacks and drinks ($10 recommended).
We'll end our summer programming with a youth favorite: an outdoor movie at Marymoor Park. This week's feature film is Rogue One. Whether you are a Star Wars fan or not, you will enjoy this experience!
Meet at the church at 5:30 PM to carpool to Marymoor Park.
