If you want a sleek, minimalist magnetic solution that integrates seamlessly with your vehicle's existing mounting system for quick access while driving, choose Bulletpoint DiabloM6; if you need a robust, all-in-one wireless charging station that automatically grips your device and handles rough roads without losing suction, choose HTU Car Charger 15W. Both tools serve the critical role of keeping your smartphone secure during car detailing or daily commutes, yet they solve the problem in fundamentally different ways. One relies on the sheer power of rare earth magnets and a modular design, while the other leans on intelligent auto-clamping mechanics and high-speed wireless induction to keep your battery topped up. Choosing between them comes down to whether you prioritize absolute grip strength and modularity or convenience and automated charging capabilities.
• Bulletpoint DiabloM6: Offers an incredibly strong hold via six rare earth neodymium magnets housed in a CNC aluminum frame, but requires a separate metal plate attachment and does not offer built-in wireless charging.
• HTU Car Charger 15W: Features intelligent auto-clamping arms and 15W fast wireless charging with a heavy-duty suction cup, though it is bulkier and requires a specific QC 3.0 adapter for maximum speed.
• Who should buy which: Choose the Bulletpoint if you prefer a slim profile and already own compatible mounting arms; choose the HTU if you want a standalone unit that charges your phone while you drive.
The Bulletpoint DiabloM6 is designed for drivers who value a clean aesthetic and the ability to mount their device anywhere using a standard ball joint system. At its core, this is a magnetic mount, and it delivers on that promise with impressive engineering. The product houses a magnet pad comprised of six rare earth neodymium magnets within a CNC'd aluminum frame. This construction isn't just about looks; it creates what the manufacturer calls a "devilish grip" that secures your phone firmly without the need for fiddly buttons or mechanical clamps. You simply position your phone near the holder, and the magnets engage instantly.
This device shines for users who want one-handed operation and a low-profile setup. Because there are no moving parts like jaws or levers to operate, you can grab your phone and snap it into place in a split second. It also supports 360-degree rotation, allowing you to switch effortlessly between portrait and landscape orientations for GPS navigation or hands-free calling.
However, this product is not for everyone. It requires you to attach one of four included metal plates to the back of your phone, case, or small device. This adds a slight layer of thickness and permanence to your setup. It is explicitly noted that it may not work with some silicone cases due to non-stick properties, so you must ensure your case material is compatible. Furthermore, it is not MagSafe compatible, meaning you cannot rely on the native magnetic alignment found in newer iPhones without the provided adhesive plate. If you are looking for a device that charges your phone wirelessly while it sits in the mount, this is not the tool for you. It is purely a holding mechanism.

The HTU Car Charger 15W is built for the driver who wants a complete solution that combines securing the phone with powering it up simultaneously. Unlike the magnetic simplicity of the DiabloM6, this unit features an intelligent auto-clamping system. When you connect the device and bring your phone close, the arms open automatically and then clamp shut once they detect the device. This eliminates the manual effort of squeezing a lever or aligning a magnetic spot. It is designed to handle large phones and thick cases with adjustable feet and deeper clamp arms, ensuring that even a massive smartphone stays locked in place.
Power is the standout feature here. This charger supports 15W fast wireless charging for compatible LG devices, 10W for Samsung Galaxy S-series models like the S25 or S24, and 7.5W for iPhones ranging from the 18 Pro Max down to the 12. While it works with standard Qi-enabled phones at 5W, achieving these speeds requires pairing it with a Quick Charge 3.0 adapter, which is sold separately. The device also includes smart charging logic that intelligently powers off once your phone reaches full capacity, protecting the battery from overcharging. This makes it an excellent companion for long drives where you need to maintain a high battery level for navigation and communication.
The mounting versatility of the HTU is another major selling point. It comes equipped with both a super suction cup and air vent clips, giving you multiple installation options. The suction cup uses a two-level locking mechanism and three layers of nano sticky gel, claiming to be three times stronger than ordinary cups. The package includes everything needed for a dashboard or windshield mount, plus a USB cord. However, this versatility comes with size. The inclusion of the charging cradle, telescopic arm, and suction base makes this a much larger and more obtrusive piece of hardware compared to the slim magnetic disk of the Bulletpoint.
• Best for battery life → HTU Car Charger 15W (Provides active 15W/10W/7.5W charging while mounted).
• Best for minimalism → Bulletpoint DiabloM6 (Slim CNC aluminum design with no bulky charging components).
• Best for ease of use → HTU Car Charger 15W (Auto-clamping arms engage automatically; no manual button pressing required).
• Best for rough terrain → HTU Car Charger 15W (Nano-gel suction cup rated for extreme temperatures and vibration).
• Best for thick cases → HTU Car Charger 15W (Adjustable wider clamp arms accommodate larger phones and thicker protective shells).
• Best for quick swaps → Bulletpoint DiabloM6 (One-handed magnetic placement is faster than waiting for auto-clamp sensors).
• Best for multi-car users → HTU Car Charger 15W (Includes vent clips and suction cups for versatile re-installation).
After weighing the specifications and intended use cases, I would personally choose the HTU Car Charger 15W for most drivers, especially those who spend significant time behind the wheel for car detailing or long hauls. The ability to charge the phone while navigating is a game-changer that the Bulletpoint simply cannot match. The auto-clamping feature removes the frustration of fumbling with magnets or plates, and the robust suction cup ensures stability even on bumpy roads. While the Bulletpoint DiabloM6 is undeniably elegant and offers a strong magnetic hold, the lack of integrated charging and the requirement for an external metal plate make it a less convenient primary solution for modern smartphones that demand constant power.
But for the average buyer seeking a reliable, all-in-one assistant for their car, the HTU's combination of fast wireless charging and intelligent safety features makes it the smarter investment. It addresses the dual needs of visibility and connectivity better than any magnetic-only alternative on the market.
No, the Bulletpoint DiabloM6 is not MagSafe compatible. It requires you to stick one of the included metal adhesive plates to the back of your phone or case to function properly.
To achieve the maximum charging speeds listed (15W for LG, 10W for Samsung, 7.5W for iPhone), you must pair the HTU charger with a Quick Charge 3.0 adapter, which is not included in the box.
Yes, the HTU suction cup is made with three layers of nano sticky gel designed to prevent air gaps and withstand temperature ranges from -40°F to 203°F, making it suitable for harsh environments.
The difficulty depends entirely on how you have installed your underlying mounting arm.
