Bulldog Leftist Union

The mission of the Bulldog Leftist Union (BLU) is to engage in Leftist, i.e. socialist, activism, organizing, and education. The BLU’s goals include:

1. Educating its own members and the students of Mississippi State University on History, Sociology, and Political Theory from a Leftist perspective.

2. Organizing on MSU’s Campus to combat the effects of Bigotry, Social Injustice, and Capitalism.

3. Standing in Solidarity with all people in BLU, on our campus, and in our community, especially those who are marginalized in our society for their race, ethnicity, or national origin, sex or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, physical or mental ability, or any other identity.

BLU aims to exercise Left-Wing political ideals and activities based on the principles of Mutual Aid and Direct Action to help fight for a better world, one in which all people are treated equitably and with dignity.
