Welcome to the Bullard High School Library! My name is Anna Jierian, and I’m honored to serve as your Teacher Librarian. My journey into the library world began over a decade ago when I started in education without realizing it would lead me here. Along the way I discovered that the library is exactly where I am meant to be, a place where curiosity thrives, stories connect us, and learning takes on new life.

At Bullard I focus on creating a library space that feels both imaginative and inspiring. You will often find me curating creative book displays with a touch of whimsy and a gothic twist inspired by my love of Edgar Allan Poe. His sense of mystery and wonder fuels the way I design lessons, build programs, and encourage students to explore stories that challenge the imagination. Beyond books, the library is a hub for exploration, whether that means diving into research, finding a story that feels like it was written just for you, or simply taking a moment of calm in a busy school day.

Outside the library my greatest joy comes from time with my wonderful husband and our lively household. We have two amazing kids who keep us constantly moving with their activities and adventures, a sweet but slightly psychopathic puppy named Coco, and a cat named Tiger who rules the house with quiet confidence. Family time is often filled with laughter, creativity, and just the right amount of chaos, and it keeps me grounded and inspired in all the work I do.

My goal is simple: 

to ensure every student who walks through these doors feels seen, supported, and inspired to keep reading, learning, and growing.
