Dr. Christopher Harvey moved to the City of Manor in 2006 from Austin, Texas. Chris has primarily served the central Texas community in leadership roles in the field of education and social services.
Dr. Harvey's experiences include statewide project management support for Statewide Car Seat Safety, Transformational Organization Leadership, Federal & State Grants, Strategic and Improvement Planning, Staffing, Building Community and Family Engagement, and Increasing Business and Community Partnerships.
Dr. Harvey is a practicing educator at Manor ISD, Concordia University Texas, and Texas State University. He also serves in his church as a Deacon and Musician. He leads several non-profits, entities that give scholarships, support marriages, and empower families.
Chris is married to Shaneen Harvey and has 3 beautiful girls, Chyra, Alaiya, and Chrishana. They enjoy family game and movie nights, while frequently dining at local establishments.
