1. Introduction Welcome to Build It. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our mobile application to connect customers with construction / maintenance contractors  and workers  (including House construction, A/C, Plumbing, Electrical, painting etc.. 14 different  services) .

2. Information We Collect

• Personal Profile Data: We collect your name, phone number, and firm name (for contractors) during registration to verify your identity.

• Location Data: We request access to your device's GPS location to show available jobs on a map.

• User-Generated Content: We store photos of work sites (uploaded by customers) and portfolio images (uploaded by contractors).

• Report Data: If a user is reported for misconduct, we collect the reporter’s ID, the reported user's ID, and specific remarks regarding the incident.

3. How We Use and Protect Your Privacy We employ a Privacy-First approach to ensure user safety and data security:

• Location Privacy (Offset Logic): For unassigned jobs, we show only an approximate location on the map to protect customer privacy. The exact location and navigation features are only revealed to a contractor after the customer officially accepts their interest.

• Contact Detail Masking: A customer’s phone number and full name are hidden from all contractors by default. These details are only shared with the specific contractor the customer chooses to hire.

• Data Storage: All images and profile data are stored securely using Firebase encryption.

4. Community Safety and Reporting

• Reporting Mechanism: Users can report others for fake photos, no-shows, or unprofessional behavior.

• Account Suspension: We reserve the right to block users who violate our community guidelines. Blocked users are instantly restricted from accessing the app's features.

5. Third-Party Services We use Google Firebase for authentication, database management, and push notifications. These services may collect information           used to identify you in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.

6. Your Rights You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your personal data at any time through the "My Profile" section of the app.

Request Account and Data Deletion If you would like to permanently delete your "Build It" account and all associated data (including your phone number, location data, and uploaded photos), please email us at [support.buildit@gmail.com ] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the phone number registered to your account. We will process your request and delete your data within 7 days.
