What is the difference between in-person and virtual training?
In-person training allows us to work together at my home gym or at your location, where I can provide hands-on adjustments and a more personalized experience. Virtual training gives you the flexibility to train from anywhere with video sessions, allowing you to work out at your own pace while still receiving expert guidance and accountability.
How do I get started with virtual coaching?
To get started with virtual coaching, simply fill out my intake form to tell me about your fitness goals, experience, and any specific needs. Once I have that info, we’ll schedule an initial consultation to discuss your program, your goals, and how we can work together effectively. From there, I’ll create a customized workout plan that you can follow online.
Do I need equipment for virtual training?
While having equipment can enhance your workouts, you don’t need anything fancy to get started. Many of my clients train with minimal equipment like dumbbells, resistance bands, or even just bodyweight exercises. I’ll tailor your program to fit whatever equipment you have, or help you get creative with household items!
What should I expect during a training session?
During an in-person session, we’ll go through a workout designed to meet your specific goals, focusing on correct form, mobility, and strength. For virtual sessions, I’ll guide you through your workout via video, ensuring you understand each movement and maintaining accountability. After each session, I’ll give you feedback and suggestions to keep improving.
How often should I train?
The frequency of your workouts will depend on your goals, but I typically recommend at least 3 sessions per week for optimal results. I’ll work with you to create a training schedule that fits into your lifestyle and makes sense for your goals.
How do I track my progress?
Tracking progress is important for staying motivated. For in-person clients, I’ll keep track of your lifts and physical improvements. For virtual clients, we can track things like workout consistency, strength gains, and other performance metrics. We’ll also have regular check-ins to assess how things are going and adjust as needed.
What if I don’t have a lot of time for workouts?
No problem! I specialize in time-efficient workouts that can be done in 30-45 minutes, so you’ll still see progress without spending hours in the gym. We’ll focus on maximizing your training time, using effective exercises that deliver results quickly.
Do you offer meal plans or nutrition guidance?
I focus primarily on training, but I can provide general nutrition tips to complement your fitness goals. If you’re looking for a more structured meal plan, I can direct you to some trusted professionals who specialize in that area.
What if I have an injury or special consideration?
I have certifications in Corrective Exercise, so if you have an injury or specific concern, I can help modify exercises and ensure that you’re training safely. During our intake process, we’ll discuss any limitations you might have, and I’ll customize your training plan accordingly.
How do I schedule a session or ask questions?
The best way to schedule a session is to fill out the intake form on my website, and we’ll take it from there. You can also reach out to me directly via email at BuildingResilienceLLC.24@gmail.com or social media with any questions.
