Call for Participation

We welcome researchers and practitioners, those with theoretical knowledge and those with expert practical knowledge; those who have encountered enablers and/or barriers to open sciences and scholarship.

This workshop will explore the issues of open science and scholarship in more depth, using a three-part format. For the first part, participants will be asked to propose ten-minute presentations on any aspect of the relationship across open science, open scholarship, and learning analytics. In the second part, participants will be split into groups, where they will discuss the issues raised in the presentations, relating these issues to their own experiences where appropriate. In the final part of the workshop, participants will work to produce a draft of the SoLAR statement to ‘inform and guide practice’.

  • If you would like to participate in the workshop and want your short paper or poster to be eligible for CEUR proceedings, please submit it using the LAK template no later than 17 January 2021 via email to Rebecca Ferguson and Bart Rienties.

  • If you would like to participate in the workshop and want to share your perspectives (e.g., in the form of a blog, paper, poster, social media) to be included on this website, please submit your output to us no later than 19 February 2022 via email to Rebecca Ferguson and Bart Rienties.
