BuildBid Pro ("the app") is provided by LHC Abrams LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how. We built BuildBid Pro to keep your business data on your own device. We do not run user accounts, and we do not sell your data.

The short version

Your estimates, customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, photos, and settings are stored locally on your device.
We do not require an account, sign-in, or password.
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking.
Some optional features connect to outside services only when you choose to use them (see below).

Information stored on your device

When you use BuildBid Pro, the information you enter — including customer names and contact details, job and project details, estimates, quotes, invoices, pricing, photos, and your company profile — is saved locally on your device. This information stays on your device unless you choose to share it (for example, by sending a PDF proposal or invoice yourself).

Camera and photos

If you use receipt scanning or attach job photos, the app accesses your camera or photo library with your permission. Images and any text recognized from them are processed and stored on your device. We do not upload your photos to our servers.

Optional features that use the internet

Certain optional features reach external services only when you actively use them:

Online payment links: If you create a payment link, the relevant invoice details are sent to the payment provider (such as Stripe) to generate that link.
Signature requests: If you send a proposal for remote signing, the recipient's email and the document are transmitted to deliver the request.
Supplier / reference pricing: If you use pricing lookup features, the app may request pricing reference data over the internet.
Maps and addresses: If you enter a job address or use map features, the address may be sent to the device's mapping service to display location information.

If you do not use these optional features, the app does not transmit your data over the internet.

Subscriptions and purchases

BuildBid Pro offers an optional auto-renewing Pro subscription. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's own privacy policy and terms.

Data we collect

We do not operate servers that collect your personal business data, and we do not maintain user profiles. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app. Apple may provide us with aggregate, anonymized download and usage statistics through App Store Connect, which do not identify you personally.

Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Information leaves your device only when you choose to share it (such as emailing a proposal, creating a payment link, or sending a signature request), and only to the service needed to complete that action.

Your control over your data

Because your data is stored locally, you remain in control of it. You can delete individual records within the app, and you can remove all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device.

Children

BuildBid Pro is a business tool intended for contractors and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
