Build A Reef International (BRI) membership is open to all individuals or group in the local community, peoples organization, non-government organizations, civic organizations, educational institutions, leisure or sports group, companies and businesses who want to be part of our vision and mission towards a healthy and productive marine environment. He/She should be of good moral character and never been involved in any illegal and criminal activities. He/She should be willing to abide by our policies and code of conduct and be able to commit to the obligations and responsibilities arising from his/her membership.

Membership Category

1. Individual member

Individual Membership is ideal for anyone who would like to participate in marine environment protection and conservation activities of BRI. Individuals who may belong to an organization, society, associations, clubs, diving and mountaineering groups, businesses and companies can choose from the following levels:

• Professional

• Non-Professional

• Students/Senior Citizens

• Coastal Community members

2. Group/Institutional member

Group or institutional membership offers the opportunity to join and participate in BRI's various activities. This type of membership include civic groups, non-profit organizations, peoples organizations, government agencies, universities and colleges, school organizations, clubs and societies.

3. Corporate member

This membership offers the opportunity for businesses and companies to become a partner with the BRI by supporting its various activities and at the same time, helping our partner to achieve its corporate social responsibility (CSR) or sustainability goals. 

B. How to Join

1.  Download and accomplish the BRI Membership Application Form.

2.  Submit the accomplished the form to the Membership Coordinator through email at:

      buildareef@gmail.com along with the required documents.

3.  Your application form with requirements will be processed and approved by the Board.

4.  Once the application has been approved, you may pay the annual membership to a bank account designated by the BRI.

Membership Requirements:

For Individuals:

1.   A copy of any two (2) government I.D, barangay I.D. or school I.D (if student) with picture, signature and address.

2.   NBI clearance, Police Clearance or Barangay Clearance.

3.   Three (3) copies of 2x2 ID picture with white background.

For Institutions/Organizations/Companies:

1.   Copies of the company IDs of the Primary Contact and the Corporate Representatives; 

2.   Brief profile of the organization or company/business

3.   Letter of intent addressed to the Membership Coordinator.

4.   A copy of any of the following, if available:

•  First page of the Articles of Incorporation from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC);

•  BIR Form 2303 – Certificate of Registration

•  DTI Certificate of Registration

Membership Fees:

An annual membership fee is provided below:

1.   Individual Member

•  For Professionals – P250/year

•  For Non-Professionals – P150/year

•  For Students – P100/year

•  For Coastal Community - Free

2.   Group/Institutional Member

•  Government, NGOs, Civic Groups, Societies and Clubs – P500/year

3.   Corporate Member

•  Businesses and Companies – P5,000/year

The BARI shall issue a Membership Card and a uniform to each admitted applicant. Membership fee shall be paid in one payment to a bank account designated by the BARI.
