BugMeNot is designed to help users protect their privacy and restrict access to applications and device settings while Security Mode is active.
BugMeNot does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information.
The application does not require user registration and does not request:
· Email addresses
· Phone numbers
· User accounts
· Contact information
All application settings are stored locally on the user’s device.
This may include:
· Security PIN
· Allowed applications list
· Application preferences
· Security Mode settings
No data is transmitted to external servers.
BugMeNot may use Android Accessibility Service when the user enables the Quick Settings Lock feature.
This service is used solely to:
· Prevent access to the notification panel
· Prevent access to Quick Settings while Security Mode is active
BugMeNot does not use Accessibility Service to collect, monitor, store, or transmit personal information.
Depending on enabled features, BugMeNot may request:
· Usage Access Permission
· Accessibility Service Permission
· Display Over Other Apps Permission
These permissions are used only to provide the application’s security features.
BugMeNot does not contain advertising services.
BugMeNot does not use analytics services.
BugMeNot does not transmit user data to external servers.
Google Play Billing may be used to process optional in-app purchases. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play according to Google’s own policies.
BugMeNot does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
