Your privacy comes first

No account. No sign-in. No personal information is collected by Buffstreams from you as an app user.

Favorites, match reminders, recent searches, and app preferences you manage are stored locally on your device. This page explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your data, including how Google AdMob advertising works in the app.

1. Our Commitment to Privacy

Buffstreams is built to help you browse sports schedules, live scores, standings, match details, categories, search, favorites, reminders, and theme settings — with a smooth experience. We designed this app so you can use these features without creating an account, without signing in, and without sharing your personal contact details with us. Protecting your privacy is a core principle of this product.

Buffstreams displays publicly available sports schedules, scores, statistics, and information from properly licensed or official data sources. The app does not provide unauthorized live streams or copyrighted broadcast content.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following from you as an app user:

Your name

Your phone number

Your email address

Your home or mailing address

Your date of birth

Government identifiers (SSN, ID numbers, etc.)

Photos, contacts, or camera data

Precise GPS location

Payment card numbers, banking credentials, or checkout identity data

No sign-up, login, OTP verification, email verification, social login, or registration is ever required to use the app.

3. Information Stored On Your Device

To support your sports experience, Buffstreams stores the following locally on your device only:

Favorite teams and competitions

Match reminder preferences

Recent search terms

App settings (such as dark/light theme preference, language selection, and notification toggles)

Sample sports schedules, scores, and match content shown in the app are packaged with the app or loaded as display content. Your favorites, reminders, searches, and preferences are not uploaded to our servers and are not linked to your identity as an app user. Data you manage in the app remains on your device — we do not receive it as personal user profile data.

4. Local, On-Device Processing

Buffstreams is designed for local processing. Core features — including home browsing, sport categories, match details, search and filters, favorites, schedule, notifications preferences, and profile settings — run on your device using locally managed state and preferences.

Your favorites, reminders, recent searches, and preferences are not sent to our servers for storage or processing. You can browse much of the sample sports experience without signing in.

An internet connection is needed for loading remote images (when available), displaying advertisements through Google AdMob (see Section 6), and if you choose to open external links such as support email or help resources.

5. Data Display and Sharing

All matches, scores, standings, schedules, and preference screens displayed in the app are read from on-device content and local app state. If you share screenshots or information through your device’s standard share options, that sharing is handled by your device and the app you choose — we do not receive copies of shared content unless you explicitly send it to us (for example, by email).

You are responsible for keeping any exported or shared information secure.

6. Advertising

Buffstreams may display advertisements through Google AdMob to help keep the app free to use. Ad formats may include banner ads and full-screen interstitial ads shown when you navigate between sections.

Google and its advertising partners may collect and use information such as your device’s advertising ID, approximate location (derived from IP address), app interactions with ads, and technical device data to deliver, measure, and improve ads. This data is handled according to Google’s policies, not stored by us as a personal user profile.

You can limit ad personalization on your device through:

Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

7. Third-Party Services

Core app features run on your device. The app does not send your favorites, reminders, recent searches, or preferences to external conversion or cloud account services.

Google AdMob may be used to serve advertisements. Image CDNs may be used to display team or league artwork. When you use optional actions such as sending email to support or opening a web link, those actions are handled by the respective platform or app you choose — not by Buffstreams collecting additional personal data from you.

8. Cookies and Tracking

The app itself does not use browser cookies. We do not operate our own analytics or cross-app tracking services within Buffstreams.

Advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) may use identifiers permitted by your device and Android settings to measure ad performance. We do not build personal profiles about you based on your in-app sports activity beyond what is required for ad delivery through AdMob.

9. Network and Permissions

The app requests only the permissions it needs to function:

Internet access — required for loading images and displaying advertisements through Google AdMob

Network state — used to check connectivity for image and ad loading

Notifications — used only if you enable match reminders or score alerts on your device

Advertising ID — used by Google AdMob for ad delivery and measurement on supported devices

We do not request access to contacts, camera, calendar, SMS, microphone, biometric authentication, or precise location. There is no sign-in or account permission prompt when you open the app.

Your locally stored favorites, reminders, recent searches, and preferences remain on your device during normal app use.

10. Data Security

Because we do not collect personal information or account credentials from you as an app user, there is no personal login profile that can be compromised on our servers. Your favorites, reminders, recent searches, and preferences remain on your device unless you explicitly share content outside the app.

You can clear all locally stored app data at any time through your device settings.

11. Children’s Privacy

This app is intended as a sports schedules and scores utility. It is designed so that personal information is not required from children or adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Team names, scores, schedules, and match details in the sample content are for demonstration and information within the app experience.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Because we do not collect identifying information about you as an app user, there is no personal account or profile to delete on our side. You can fully reset your app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage:

Settings → Apps → Buffstreams → Storage → Clear storage

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored favorites, reminders, recent searches, and app preferences from the app’s private storage area.

13. Sports Content Disclaimer

Buffstreams provides a sports schedules, scores, and statistics experience. Match details, scores, standings, and schedules shown in the app may include sample or demonstration data. The app does not provide unauthorized live video streams or copyrighted broadcast content.

Buffstreams is an independent application experience. Always verify real-world sports information from official sources when needed.

14. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be available within the app on this screen. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
