Buffalo Tamil Foundation is a registered non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, established in February 2026. It is the first Tamil association founded in the Greater Buffalo, New York area, building on community efforts initiated by Senthilvarathan Nagulendran since 2014.
Today, the Buffalo Tamil Foundation is dedicated to promoting the culture, arts, and literature of the Tamil community. The organization also engages in charitable initiatives aimed at improving the lives of people in need, both locally and around the USA.
In addition, the Foundation is committed to strengthening the community by fostering knowledge-sharing and intellectual development through educational and cultural activities. It aims to support prospective families by providing guidance in employment opportunities, as well as offering moral and social support to help them thrive and succeed.

Children’s Farmers Market Initiative - JAN 2026
Through our Children’s Farmers Market program, young participants gain hands-on experience in selling products and understanding basic business concepts. They learn practical skills such as communication, pricing, customer service, and simple sales techniques.
This initiative helps children build confidence, develop entrepreneurial thinking, and gain valuable knowledge about teamwork, responsibility, and financial awareness in a fun and engaging environment.
