FANTASY GOLF LEAGUE RULES 2019
1. ENTRY FEE: $ 50...if entry fee is received before January 15th, 2020, league participant will be allowed to use 1 golfer a second time throughout the course of the season.
Your league fee must be received by January 15, 2020 or you will be eliminated from the league

2. LEAGUE DURATION: Starts Jan 3rd Sentry Tournament of Champions

3. THE GIST: The league participant chooses 1 golfer for that week's tournament. Whatever that golfer earns for that week is what YOU earn. You accumulate your earnings throughout the season based on how well each golfer you pick each week performs. The catch is that you can only pick a golfer ONCE throughout the season.
EXCEPTION: Your league fee is received by Jan. 15th 2020...see Rule #1 above
4. BONUS MONEY: We have decided to eliminate all extra weekly bonus money.
5. WEEKLY DUE DATE: League participant must select their golfer and submit to the submission link no later than the established due date, generally 11:30 PM EST on the Wednesday before the weekly tournament...unless otherwise noted. League President is not responsible for technical difficulties, so get it in ON-TIME! If having trouble submitting to the site, please email to buffalogolfpool@gmail.com
6. STANDINGS: League president will do his best to update the website with the weekly selections, results and standings. Weekly results and standings are usually updated on the league website on the Monday following the tournament.
The season tournaments will also be combined/divided into 8 groups. A league participant who earns the most money over the course of the weeks within that group will win prize money. A cumulative season earnings will still be kept as well. The 8 groups are as follows:
West Coast Swing - (7 tournaments)
Pre-Masters - (7 tournaments)
Pre-PGA- (4 tournaments)
Pre-US Open (4 tournaments)
Pre-Open Championship - (3 tournaments)
Pre- FedEx Cup - (2 tournaments)
Majors (4 tournaments)
FedEx Playoffs (3 tournaments)
7. FEDEX CUP: For the last 3 tournaments (The Northern Trust, BMW and Tour Championship) all league selections will be reset. Prior to The Northern Trust (Aug 8) each league participant must submit 4 golfers to “ride out” in the 3 FedEx Cup tournaments. Of the 125 golfers that make the FedEx Cup Playoffs each league participant must choose (and may be subject to change):
1 golfer ranked between #1 - #10
1 golfer ranked between #11 - #26
1 golfer ranked between #26 - #125
The earnings of each golfer selected gets added to each league participant’s season total.
Because the Tour Championship no longer does the Event earnings, and FedEx Bonuses separately, we will be using the 2018 Tour Championship Payouts for this years Tour Championship. See link below for 2018 Tour Championship Payouts.
8. SURVIVOR: Starting with week #1, $200 will be awarded to the league participant who can go the longest into the season with their weekly selection making the weekly tournament cut, therefore earning money. So if the selected golfer for the week makes the cut to the weekend AND earns money, the league participant moves onto the next week...if he doesn’t the league participant is eliminated and out of the chance to win the money (a league participant who selects a golfer receiving an MDF-”made cut, didn’t finish” will move on in the survivor portion of the league. If a league participant fails to make a selection for that week, it will be considered not making the cut.
9. WINNINGS (Still to be finalized for 2020 season): Depending on the number of participants the payouts would be awarded to 1st-5th place, survivor and then the highest earner in each group.
2019 Payouts -
1st Place: $1250
2nd Place: $800
3rd Place: $500
4th Place: $250
5th Place: $100
Survivor: $200
Win a Group: $150
2nd place in Group: $50
Final placement winnings will be paid out shortly after the end of the season.
