José Pinto, juntamente com a sua esposa Helena Pinto, foi quem desenvolveu este conceito de sucesso para o seu restaurante, criando um negócio familiar, que assim permanece até aos dias de hoje. A única diferença é que passou gerações, no lugar de Helena Pinto, está agora a filha dos dois proprietários, Filipa Meneses, que herdou o conhecimento e o gosto pelas francesinhas e pelo atendimento ao público dos seus pais.
