The British University in Egypt (BUE) is a private research-oriented university in Cairo, Egypt. Its vibrant campus hosts 11 faculties, 12,000 students and over 1,000 academic staff members.
The Experimental and Behavioural Economics Laboratory (EBEL) is a unique research laboratory built by the BUE in close cooperation with the research laboratory at the University of Hamburg, Germany. EBEL’s subjects pool employs the full university body, students and non-students, which aims to serve as a public good for research on the understudied Middle East and North Africa region.
This year EBEL continues to bring together experts in the field via an open call for studies employing laboratory, field and online experiments. PhD candidates, early career researchers and senior scholars interested in cross-cultural research are especially encouraged to apply.
