Budy accompanied us on several excursions. He is reliable, honest, helpful and a safe driver. He will make sure you get the best price when bartering for items, he will suggest excellent places to visit, he will even help you with your Batik class.
All with a big smile and positive attitude.
I used this driver last year in 2022 (along with several other drivers). I came back to Bali in 2023 and used a friends driver the first day, he was busy after that and I was having problems finding another good driver. Then I searched my phone and found that I had saved Budy’s contact info from the first visit because he was our favorite driver. I called him up again and once again he was reliable, honest, friendly and safe!
We booked him for several trips over several days. One day my phone fell out of my pocket in the back seat. I couldn’t call him to tell him because I had no phone & no contacts! About 30 minutes later he heard my phone ringing and returned all the way back to me to return it. That made his trip home a LOT longer that night! But it made a forever customer out of me. I already liked Budy and felt comfortable with him. Now I knew for certain he was trust worthy and honest.
A group of four of us hired Budy to take us on a day trip to see some of Bali’s waterfalls. He was punctual and professional and went above and beyond in helping us get down to the waterfalls and holding our bags while we explored. Always with a smile! And he knows how to navigate Bali’s crazy traffic. So if you are looking for an English speaking driver with reasonable fares who is kind and reliable, Budy is your man!
Budy was a very enthusiastic, punctual, respectful, kind, knowledgeable, professional, safe driver/guide - always willing to answer our many questions ( with perfect English) to help us understand the culture, people and beautiful sites in Bali. He always went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and we had a great time.
I would highly recommend his services.
Budy was polite, considerate and knowledgeable of the area. We asked him to take us eastbound. He took to the Goa Lawah area. We visited a well known cave temple with hundreds of bats, an authentic indigenous village, a cement statue forming place, a sea salt producer on the black sand beach.
Budy drove us from Sanur to Denpasar airport at short notice as the transfer to the airport originally booked did not show up.
Budy was safe, courteous and professional.
I would definitely recommend Budy to family and friends traveling to Bali.
Budy is an excellent guide for Bali. He is a careful driver, courteous, speaks very good English and is so knowledgeable and passionate about his island. We learned so much about the traditions and about the Balinese people. He suggested and took us to places off of the beaten path and was so willing to please. We highly recommend him for touring and shopping!
Budy was recommended to me by an expat that lived in Bali for a period of time.
I could not have been happier to have Budy drive us a number of times during our month in Bali. He was kind, polite and always on time. His car was impeccable, ran smooth and had strong AC.
I was hosting a group of 30 Canadians in Bali for a month and recommended him to a number of our guests. Each time people returned from a trip with Budy the feedback on their experience was always exceptional.
Budy also had a huge knowledge of the island and suggested places we would not have otherwise visited like the black sand beach and a traditional salt harvest which was fascinating.
Budy was easy to communicate with on WhatsApp, always responsive and dependable. We felt very taken of and safe with Budy.
