BudgetRescue Privacy Policy
Effective September 24, 2026
BudgetRescue does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking.
Your budget stays on your iPhone
Everything you enter in BudgetRescue is stored only on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
Backups and exports
When you create a backup or export a CSV or PDF, the file is saved wherever you choose, such as the Files app, iCloud Drive, or email. We never receive these files.
Face ID and PIN
Face ID is handled entirely by iOS. BudgetRescue never receives your face data, only whether unlocking succeeded. If you use a PIN, it is stored securely in your iPhone's Keychain and never leaves your device.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is processed by Apple. We never receive your payment information.
Children
BudgetRescue is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
