BudgetIQ ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the BudgetIQ mobile app handles information.
BudgetIQ is designed to work primarily on your device.

Financial entries you create (such as income, expenses, categories, budgets, and related notes).
App settings and preferences.
Reminder/notification preferences and local notification schedules.
Timezone information used to schedule reminders correctly.
Your data is stored locally on your device using on-device storage/databases.
We do not require account creation for core app usage.
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not share your personal financial data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
The app may use standard mobile OS services (for example, local notification services provided by iOS/Android) to deliver reminders that you configure.
If you enable reminders, BudgetIQ uses local notifications to alert you on your device.
These notifications are generated from data stored locally in the app.
You can disable notifications at any time from:
the app settings, and/or
your device system settings.
BudgetIQ may open external links when you choose to do so (for example, support or policy links).
When visiting external websites, their own privacy policies apply.
BudgetIQ is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because data is stored locally on your device:
You can delete data from within the app (if supported), or
You can uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data (subject to device/OS behavior and backups).
We use reasonable measures to protect information stored by the app. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information (such as access, correction, or deletion).
Since BudgetIQ primarily stores data locally on your device, you typically control your data directly within the app/device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by revising the effective date and publishing the latest policy.
