Track Budget respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when you use the Track Budget mobile application.

Track Budget helps users manage their personal finances by tracking expenses, monitoring income, managing subscriptions, setting financial goals, and using related budgeting tools.

Guest Mode

You may use Track Budget without creating an account. When you use Guest Mode, your financial data is stored locally on your device.

If you use Guest Mode only, Track Budget does not collect personal account information such as your email address, username, or name.

Account Registration and Sign-In

If you choose to create an account, we may collect information such as your email address, username, and name.

Passwords are handled securely through our authentication provider and are not stored by us in plain text.

You may also sign in using Apple or Google. When you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we may receive information from those providers, such as your email address and, when available, your name. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email feature, Apple may provide a private relay email address associated with your account.

Financial and App Data

The financial information you enter into Track Budget is created and managed by you. This may include expenses, income, budgets, subscriptions, payment reminders, accounts, wallets, and financial goals.

When you use a cloud account, your data may be stored locally on your device and synchronized with our secure cloud infrastructure. This allows you to back up your information, access your account across sessions, and use account-based features.

Social and Shared Features

If you use social or shared features, we may process information such as friend connections, friend requests, group memberships, shared expenses, usernames, display names, profile photos, and invitations sent or received through the app.

This information is used only to provide and support these features.

Profile Photos and Receipts

If you upload a profile photo or scan receipts, those images may be stored on your device and, if you use a cloud account, in our secure cloud storage.

These images are used only to provide the related app functionality, such as displaying your profile photo or helping you manage receipts.

Notifications

With your permission, Track Budget may send local notifications on your device for payment reminders, subscription alerts, and related budgeting notifications.

You can manage or disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

Analytics and Diagnostics

Track Budget may use anonymous analytics or diagnostic tools to improve app performance, stability, and user experience.

These tools may collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system version, app performance data, and crash reports. This information is not used to personally identify individual users and is used only to improve the functionality and reliability of the application.

Data Storage and Security

Guest Mode data remains on your device unless you choose to back up your device using services provided by your device manufacturer.

Cloud account data is stored using industry-standard security practices through our infrastructure provider. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

When you delete your account, your cloud-stored account data and profile information are permanently removed from our systems, subject to any legal, security, or technical retention requirements.

Data stored locally on your device may remain there unless you delete the app or clear the app data from your device.

Third-Party Services

Track Budget uses third-party services to provide authentication, cloud storage, and related app functionality. These may include:

• Apple Sign In

• Google Sign-In

These third-party providers process data according to their own privacy policies and security practices.

Children’s Privacy

Track Budget is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app with a revised effective date.

Your continued use of Track Budget after any updates means that you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
