Buddy loves nothing more than having friends for a sleepover!
When we go away and can't take our dogs with us, it can be heartbreaking. We want to know our dogs are being looked after as if we had never left, in the same friendly and loving home environment we all work so hard to achieve. At Buddy Patrol, we understand this and work hard to ensure that normal routines are maintained 24/7 in engaging environments. Healthy dogs, require up to 16 hours of sleep every day!!
So when you bring your dog to stay, it's important that you bring their own bed. This gives them their own dedicated space to sleep when they just want to get away from it all. There is always a spare lap and the sofa fills quickly, but everyone finds somewhere to relax.
It is also good to bring other familiar items such as bowls, toys, blankets as these items bring a familiar scent and remind them of home.
Dogs who prefer continual company throughout the day and the familiar smells and sounds of a family home, are better suited to boarding.
