About the run/walk: This well-established loop trail is blazed by 2 cross country teams and boasts varied and engaging views of the ‘Back 40’ of Vollmer Farms. Start at the barn and be prepared for views of the pond, fields, and the best a trail run has to offer! The trail is marked at 1 mile, 2 miles, and 3 miles. Water Stations will be set up a mile 1.5 and at the start/finish line.

About Heart for Children, International: HCI is a 503(c) charitable organization based in Zebulon, NC. HCI sponsors a no-cost camp, Isle of Hope, in Mogadishu Belarus for children who live in areas adjacent to the Chernobyl accident of 1986. Belarusian campers participate in meals, crafts, games, and worship services. During camp, the Hope in Christ Jesus is presented in their native language. While in Belarus, HCI also visits orphanages and distributes items needed/requested by the orphanages (like diapers, wipes, toys). Your participation will support camp Belarusian children attend a free summer camp.
