I, Shri Buddhodev Ghosh (Born: 2nd December 1998), a CSIR Project Associate (I), West Bengal (Formerly IRCC Fellow from IIT Bombay). I am also a citizen of Bengal, India. From childhood, I took my first steps into literature and cultural activities with my parents' help (Father: Jagobandhu Ghosh, Mother: Lalita Ghosh). But Viswakavi Ravindranath Tagore has been my inspiration for literature forever. I also got inspiration from his teacher, Dr Sanjit Bhattacharya, and a private tutor during his teenage years. I try to write many types of literature in Bengali, English, and Sanskrit. My first printed work was published in 2013 at the Kolkata International Book Fair by Sharatshashi Little Magazine. I used to edit a wall magazine named ‘Navankur’, from his 4th standard period, with my interest. This ‘Ashu kavi’ (one who can make immediate poetry) also works in the fields of literature and culture.
I have been traditionally trained and received Classes on Nyāya (Indian Logic) and Vedānta Philosophy by some of the Best Scholars in India, such as Vidwan Venkatramana Bhatta, Dr Nagaraja Bhatta, Swami Vedarthananda, Swami Japasiddhananda, MM Mani Dravid Shastri, Prof. K Maheswaran, Prof. Satish K, Prof. K Kartic, K E Devanathan, Datatnubhava Tungse, and many others. Also won the Scriptural debate competition at Kashi in the state of Maharashtra and placed fourth nationally. I have also received more than 5 merit scholarships for Sanskrit studies from various government and private bodies, both nationally and internationally. Apart from my knowledge of Sanskrit, I have an interest also in Modern and Indian Science, Astronomy, and computer Languages such as Java, HTML, C, C++, and Python. I am also curating one site to preserve texts on Rhetoric and the literature of Sanskrit. Not only in academics but also in the performing arts, I have made a small contribution, having successfully directed and performed in more than 10 original dramas in various languages, including Sanskrit. One of them was also the first-ever Sanskrit drama performed at IIT Bombay. Also, tried to pursue concurrent research experience in Tantrādvaita and Indian Aesthetics (Cognitive Study) at RKMVERI (Under the Guidance of Dr Nagaraja Bhat) and at IIT Bombay (Under the Guidance of Prof. K Ramasubramanian & Co-supervision of Prof. Malhar A Kulkarni). After exploring the interpretation of Vedānta by Srimat Anirban, I am now focusing on the Traditional Knowledge of Agriculture from the Indian Knowledge System Perspective.
