BUDDHA OUTCAST SOCIAL SOCIETY - BOSS is a registered voluntary society (NGO) engaging in rural development activities in this region from the year 1995. It was established by a group of like minded social activists, professional and a non-professional workers joined hands to work for a cause of noble deeds such as social welfare, Socio Economic Development of the weaker sections.

It was established by a group of like minded social activists, professional and a non-professional workers joined hands to work for a cause of noble deeds such as social welfare, Socio Economic Development of the weaker sections.
It helps the poor people by enabling them to realize their inherent capacities and attention on most vulnerable sections of the community to acquire basic needs and rights, to impart knowledge and to be reliant, secure themselves, to establish an egalitarian society, by the methods of Training and implementations of project & programs.

In the past 22 years ‘ BOSS ’ served the rural poor people in 100 villages around the Tiruvannamalai development block for their development in all aspects.

The mission of BOSS is realized by its involvement in catalyzing and pursing projects benefiting the lives and livelihoods of people in about 60 villages which include in Tiruvannamalai, Cuddalore Districts in Tamil nadu.

BOSS realizes the talent capacity among the people upgrade themselves from their present status. It stresses for increased and better participation of the people in community development affairs thereby re establishing the existing system and believe that the people are the great resource.
