The Dog That Started It All...
Bryn rescued Buck from a motel room where he was living with his Mom, Dad and littermates. His Dad was full Staffordshire Terrier, while his Mom was a gorgeous Cattle Dog mix. Bryn was wrapping up her senior year in high school and Buck was glued to her side. By the time he was 3, Buck had developed full blown fear reactivity. He was triggered by small animals, noises, unfamiliar people, and especially other dogs. The barking, growling, lunging and lack of control worried Bryn. So while she was in college, she began working with Tina Ferner CPDT-KA through Canine Karma. Bryn spent the next few years interning, assisting and teaching classes at Canine Karma while she discovered her passion for working with dogs.
Bryn has been around dogs for all 26 years of her life. She grew up on a farm with many rescue and working dogs of all different breeds and sizes. In 2017, as a senior in high school, she rescued a 5 week old puppy from a motel room. The puppy was nursed back to health and named Buck. Buck wound up being different from all the dogs she had grown up around and he pushed her to enter the world of professional dog training. Over the next 8 years Bryn learned the ins and outs of the dog training world. She met amazing dogs (and owners) and began honing her craft. Thanks to many amazing trainers, owners and industry professionals, Bryn is ready to start her next chapter helping dogs and their owners.
Both Buck and Bryn have seen their lives transform over the last 8 years.
