I've had an interest in equine photography since I first picked up a camera, But the interest became bigger when I moved to P.E.I. I saw my first horse show at Venture Stables in Freetown. I thought to myself Hmm I should try barrel racing pictures one day, Flash forward to Ventures spooktacular horse show I tried it and loved it.
Now here are some pictures I've taken at the barn!
In barrel club, before Andrea left the indoor arena she decided that she would run the barrel pattern on foot with her horse Innie. I love this picture of these two because the film grain makes it feel like a memory and well that's my goal for photography, The big reason why I love this photo is because of the smile on Andreas' face. The freedom and happiness must feel awesome you go, Cowgirl!
During the Venture weekend Barrel Club was happening! If you don't know what barrel club is, it's a group of girls and boys of various ages, a fun way to learn from peers, and a great way to get out and have fun!
