Bucket Your Boss is a "grown up" version of the Ice Bucket Challenge to engage corporate leadership to get soaked while raising money and awareness to benefit The ALS Association DC/MD/VA Chapter.

This event will be one of our most entertaining corporate opportunities ever. The funds raised provide ALS patient care, research and advocacy - providing critical support to ALS families.

Together we can make a difference in the lives of more than 900 ALS patients and families. ALS does not stop, so neither can we. Below are a few options we are offering to keep all participants safe while raising critical funding for the ALS community.

Option A: Live Bucketing

Participants will be given an opportunity to participate in one of the live events in Washington, DC, Richmond, or Baltimore. You can film a short video to thank donors, and get soaked. "Bosses" will be limited to two guests and we will take all protocols to maintain proper social distance and safety precautions, including facemasks and hand sanitizer availability.

Option B: DIY Bucketing

If you would feel more comfortable getting soaked elsewhere, this option is for you. You may choose to get soaked at home, at your office, a local fire station, or anywhere you’d like. If you choose this option, we encourage you to take a video to share with the Chapter and your supporters.

For both options, registered companies are provided with personalized web pages and a welcome packet full of tools to help their "boss" and employees raise money.
