Privacy Policy

Kick is built to keep your data on your device. There is no account, no tracking, no ads, and nothing is ever sold. The only time anything leaves your device is when you choose to use an AI feature, and then only the text that request needs. This policy explains what Kick does and does not collect.
WHAT IS STORED, AND WHERE
Your lists, goals, deadlines, completion moments, reflections, and photos are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database. They are not uploaded to our servers. If you use iCloud Backup, this data is included in your device's encrypted Apple backup, like any other app data.
AI FEATURES
When you use an AI feature, such as suggesting a date, breaking a goal into steps, generating ideas, or running a reality check, Kick sends only the text that request needs, the goal title, your related notes, and a small profile context (your first name, age, and chosen interests, if you set them), to our third-party AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a response. That text is used only to return your result. It is not used to build an advertising profile. As a rule, do not put anything you would not want processed by a third-party model into a goal you then run an AI feature on.
PHOTOS
Photos you attach to a finished goal are saved only in Kick's private storage on your device. They are never uploaded.
REMINDERS
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Kick has no server and sends no remote push notifications.
PURCHASES
Subscriptions and purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Kick never sees your payment details. It only receives your subscription status.
WHAT KICK DOES NOT DO
No accounts. No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. No advertising. No selling or sharing of your data with anyone.
DELETING YOUR DATA
You can erase everything at any time from Settings, Reset all data, or by deleting the app. Both permanently remove your local data from your device.
CHILDREN
Kick is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
