At IITM, I have built expertise in both theoretical and experimental physics, combining hands-on and computational skills. Experimentally, I am trained in 2D material synthesis, heterostructure assembly with micron precision, and nanoscale device fabrication using e-beam lithography and metal deposition. I am proficient in electrical and magneto-transport measurements at cryogenic temperatures, as well as Raman and PL spectroscopy under extreme conditions.
Theoretically, I specialise in ab-initio simulations using DFT (VASP, Quantum Espresso, Quantum-ATK) and post-processing with Phonopy, WannierTools, and BoltzTraP. I also bring strong programming and data analysis expertise (MATLAB, shell scripting, COMSOL), along with experience in instrument automation, teaching, and scientific communication.
