Effective Date: 12 August 2026
BubbleBee respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app processes, why it is used, and which third-party services are involved.
BubbleBee does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, precise location, contacts, photographs, camera data or microphone data.
BubbleBee stores certain game information locally on your device, including:
Your most recent score
An unfinished game and its current state
Current level, remaining time, hearts and bubbles in an unfinished game
Stored power-ups belonging to the current game
Locally cached copies of scores, preferences and Heart Bank information
An unfinished game is not synchronised through iCloud.
Deleting the app removes most locally stored information, although information stored through iCloud or Apple services may remain as described below.
When iCloud is available and enabled for BubbleBee, the app uses Apple’s iCloud key-value storage service to keep certain information synchronised across devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
Information synchronised through iCloud may include:
Personal top-ten scores and the dates on which scores were achieved
Sound, music and vibration settings
Theme preferences
Heart Bank credits, remaining balance and heart usage
One-way derived transaction references used to prevent duplicate delivery of purchased hearts
Random app-installation identifiers used to merge information safely between devices
The original StoreKit transaction identifiers are not stored by BubbleBee.
The current unfinished game, individual bubble positions, remaining level time, most recent score and stored Freeze power-ups are not synchronised through iCloud.
The developer does not receive your Apple Account name, email address or password through this feature. iCloud storage and synchronisation are operated by Apple and are subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy:
https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
You can control whether BubbleBee uses iCloud through your device’s Apple Account and iCloud settings. Turning off iCloud stops further synchronisation on that device. Information already stored in iCloud may remain until it is removed through your iCloud storage settings.
BubbleBee uses Google Firebase Analytics for first-party gameplay analytics. When the app is used, Firebase Analytics may collect:
Game and level starts
Levels completed
The level reached when a game ends
Scores and new high scores
Time spent playing and time taken to complete levels
Hearts remaining when a level is completed
Use of continues
Interactions with special bubbles
App sessions and general interaction with the app
App version, device type, operating-system version and general technical or diagnostic information
A pseudonymous app-instance identifier automatically assigned by Firebase Analytics
Approximate geographic information, such as country, region or city, derived from a masked IP address
BubbleBee does not use Apple Location Services or collect precise GPS location.
The analytics information is used to measure level completion, understand game difficulty, diagnose technical issues, improve features and measure general app usage. Analytics information is associated with a pseudonymous app-instance identifier rather than your name, email address or Apple Account.
Analytics information is processed by Google. More information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy and Privacy and Security in Firebase:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
BubbleBee does not track players across apps or websites owned by other companies.
The app does not:
Collect or use Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA)
Display personalised advertising
Use analytics information for advertising
Link app information with third-party information for advertising or advertising measurement
Sell personal information
Share information with data brokers
Because BubbleBee does not perform tracking as defined by Apple, it does not request permission through the AppTrackingTransparency framework.
If you use Game Center features, Apple may process information such as your Game Center player identifier, display name and submitted scores.
BubbleBee may use this information to submit and display leaderboard scores. The developer does not receive your Apple Account password or payment information through Game Center.
Game Center is operated by Apple and is subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
BubbleBee offers optional consumable In-App Purchases, including packs of hearts.
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive or store your payment-card or banking information.
The app receives the product purchased, transaction identifier, verification result and purchase status needed to verify the purchase, deliver hearts and prevent duplicate delivery. BubbleBee may retain a one-way derived reference created from the transaction identifier, together with the Heart Bank ledger, locally and through iCloud. The original transaction identifier is not retained by BubbleBee.
Apple processes purchases according to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Device-only game information remains until it is changed, reset or removed by deleting the app.
Information synchronised through iCloud may remain after the app is deleted. You can disable BubbleBee’s access to iCloud or manage its stored information through your Apple Account and iCloud storage settings.
Firebase Analytics information is retained according to the Google Analytics settings selected by the developer and Google’s applicable retention practices.
Because BubbleBee does not require its own user account, the developer may not be able to associate pseudonymous Firebase Analytics information with a particular person. Game Center, iCloud and App Store purchase information may need to be managed through Apple.
Information processed through Firebase Analytics may be handled by Google or its service providers outside your country of residence. Information synchronised through iCloud is processed by Apple according to Apple’s applicable privacy and data-protection terms.
This policy may be updated when the app, its features or its data practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
