TsukuBOOK is now live!

TsukuBOOK is a collection of original short stories written in Japanese. As part of the JV Campus project, my team and I at the University of Tsukuba are creating these stories with the specific goal of providing captivating reading materials for adult learners of Japanese. 

We are working to provide each story at 3 levels of difficulty (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) so that you can do "embedded reading," or reading the same story at increasing levels of difficulty. This is known to make the contents much more comprehensible and thus more effectively facilitate acquisition. 

Right now, we have 26 stories completed at the advanced level and about 3/4 of those rewritten at an intermediate level. Once we finish with the intermediate level rewrite, we plan to do the beginning level rewrites. After that, we plan to continue developing and offereing new story contents. We currently have an additional 25 stories in the planning phase.
