A kind of court dance designated as Important Intangible Cultural Heritage No. 40. A work belonging to the great work in royal court dance, as it is composed of a single piece by Hakmu and Yeonhwadae.
The theme of this dance is to praise the country's virtuous politics.
The hallmark of Hakmu is that it is a representative dance performed in the mask of an animal. It has originality and artistry because it realistically expresses the movement of a crane, a flying animal.

This dance was created by Crown Prince Hyomyeong in the 28th year of King Sunjo (1828). Although the dance formation is symmetrical, it has an unusual structure as if the company is standing sideways and forming the shape of a butterfly's wings. In addition, the dance moves with one or three strokes as if expressing the flapping of a butterfly's wings are characteristic.
It is also unique in that the robes are embroidered with butterflies in various places.

It is a traditional sword dance practiced in Korea. Geommu is performed with special costume, dance moves, and music. The dance is known for its grace in performance. Extra emphasis is placed on the movement of the costuming, notably the sleeves, in harmony with the movements of the dancer. The symbolic use of ssang dan geom, i.e. a replica of dual short swords, keeps to the militaristic origins of this dance. Geom-mu has become a dance of great beauty and is treasured as the South Korea's 12th Important Intangible Cultural Property.

A dance performed using folding fan. It was created by dancer Kim Baek-bong and was first presented on the stage of the Seoul City Hall 1954. In 1968, at the World Folk Art Festival, it was reconstructed as a group dance by the Korean folk art troupe.

It is one of the most famous Korean traditional dances and designated as South Korea's important intangible cultural asset number 27 in 1969.The dancer's long and white sleeves movements, the serenity of white hood, a breathtaking pause, and then a soul-stirring movement contribute to the singular uniqueness of the seungmu. Seungmu was influenced by Buddhist ritual dance. It can be said to be a representative dance of folk dance that has been spread to the public and has been developed and improved over the years and has now become the essence of folk dance. Seungmu is regarded as non-religious dance art. The dancer wears a distinctive long-sleeved robe, highlighting the flowing arm movements throughout the dance.

Talchum could be characterized as a Korean dance performed while wearing a mask, mimicry, miming, speaking and even sometimes singing. Korean mask dance dramas are not just dances performed by masked dancers but also include significant dramatic content with masked characters portraying people, animals and sometimes supernatural beings.
