COVID-19 Vaccine is FREE

Vaccines will be provided to people falling into the following categories on Friday, 12 Nov, at 14:00 (2 pm) at the sports stadium in Phan Thiet:

First shot, for those who registered online with us between end of Oct and 5 Nov
a. Registration is currently closed
b. You should have been contacted via email with details already (please email us if you have NOT been contacted)
First shot, for those who registered online with us after 5 Nov (Vero Cell vaccine only)
a. Registration remains open*
b. You will be contacted via email with details soon
Second shot, for those who obtained their Vero Cell first shots from outside Ham Tien in mid-October (i.e., those needing their second Vero Cell shot)
a. Registration remains open*
b. You will be contacted via email with details soon
c. If you obtained your first Vero Cell shot in Ham Tien, then you will need to follow the "normal" Ham Tien second Vero Cell shot procedure
Second shot, for those who obtained their Pfizer first shot in mid-October
a. You need not register via this website
b. You should have been contacted via text with details already (please email us if you have NOT been contacted)

You will need to collect your official invitation at the Blue Ocean Resort carpark (54 Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, Ham Tien) on THURSDAY 11 NOV between 16:00-17:00 (4-5 pm), so that your first shot can be administered in Phan Thiet on FRIDAY 12 NOV at 14:00 (2 pm).

You must bring to Phan Thiet your official invitation. Those receiving their second shot must ALSO bring with them their blue vaccination certificate provided at the time of the first shot.

*We are unable to guarantee a vaccination for this category of people, given the late registration. Official invitation may also not be available for this category of people on Thursday, and we may provide the official invitation at the vaccination site on Friday. You will be contacted with what you will need to do.

Second shot vaccinations currently haven't been scheduled for those who obtained their Oxford–AstraZeneca first shot in mid-October. We will provide information as it becomes available on this website and via email, so please join our email distribution list by clicking on the appropriate button below.

While we don't know what will become available when, we do know that generally can expect an 8-week lag in obtaining your second Oxford–AstraZeneca shot. That would imply your second Oxford–AstraZeneca shot should be provided in mid-December.

We are told that we shouldn't expect more than one day advance notice for the second Oxford–AstraZeneca shot. Please keep an eye on this website and/or your email inbox for additional timely information for your second Oxford–AstraZeneca shot.

Update on traveling to the Vaccination Center in Phan Thiet

To go to the sports stadium in Phan Thiet on Friday, 12 Nov, and avoid the roadblock, please take the Hung Vuong Bridge (turn right to Lotte Mart then left to Ton Duc Thang Street)

Ham Tien has made and is continuing to make COVID-19 vaccinations available to foreigners (tourists and residents registered in Ham Tien) and their families

First shot Public Announcement

Foreigners or Vietnamese in couple with foreigner that has registered at the same address (tourists and residents registered in Ham Tien) who have NOT had their first COVID-19 vaccination can register to get vaccinated by following the steps below.

Please note that early registration in encouraged. We also encourage you to encourage your foreigner-oriented friends to register, if they have not done so already.

Registration for the first COVID-19 vaccination will close Thursday, 11 November at 16:00 (4 pm). For those who register between now and Thursday will receive only the Vero Cell vaccine on Friday, 12 Nov, at 14:00 (2 pm) in Phan Thiet.

Those who registered prior of 5 November are expected to receive another type of vaccine, and depending on Vero Cell vaccine supplies, may be able to opt for Vero Cell depending on their specific medical situation.

Please note that this is late registration, that we have kept open for those who haven't registered, so that we can continue to let local officials know who still need vaccination. We can not guarantee that your registration will be accepted.

After registration, you will be contacted by email with information on next steps.

Who is eligible for the first COVID-19 vaccine shot?

Foreigners and their Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese family members (including if you share housing with a Foreigner) who:
- Live in Ham Tien
- Are at least 18 years old
- Have NOT had their first COVID-19 vaccination
Please make sure you accurately enter your information, such as your name and other passport information, as errors may be difficult to correct
We encourage you to register with your accurate personal information to ensure your proof of legal identification
