I have worked in a number of capacities on production teams in recent years. As a stage manager and ASM, I have worked on a range of projects from helping to develop a Fringe Festival solo project to working with leading professionals in the Philadelphia theatre scene. All of my work done on Villanova Theatre projects was run on AEA standards and I have experience working with a variety of levels of experience and funding. My graduate work also gave me classroom and practical experience in designing and working costumes, sets, lighting. Understanding that each production's needs are unique, I strive to bring a high level of professionalism and care-based production practices to every project I work on.
Costuming
My Graduate assistantship in Villanova's costume shop began my journey with costume work. Over my two years in this position, I have gained extensive experience in pattern making, stitching, costume research and tracking, budgeting, and much more. I have also worked as assistant to the designer on three shows at Villanova: Curtains: A Musical Whodunnit, Men on Boats, and Chrysalis. Additionally I have had the opportunity in sceneography work to design my own costumes.
Technical Director/Set Work
Growing up around collegiate and community theatres, I have been building sets from a young age. Most recently I have had the opportunity to work as technical director on two graduate thesis productions, Heart's Desire and The International Stud, and on Defiance Community Theater's production of Oliver!. I have also worked as a scenic carpenter and decorator on many productions for Thunder River Theatre Company and The Sopris Theatre Company
